Hi ladies, I need a bit of inspiration from you. My birthday is coming up soon and a new year or a birthday always makes me want to set new goals. My New Year's goal was to take a photo a day and right now I'm 201 days into that. So with my birthday coming up I want to start art journaling more. Yeah I know, I'm doing it already. But it feels like the photography has taken most of my creative energy this year and I want to get back to being more committed to my art journaling.

But I'm also in desperate need of new supplies. Perhaps most of all brushes, overlays etc. So please share your favorites with me so I can use the money I don't have :-)blush) for some new supplies :)

I am a terrible rule follower so I am going to start with some stitches that I think everyone needs! .... because you need something to ground all those layers. LOL!!!!

Realized this thread is going to be image heavy, so I should be adding the thumbnails instead.

I am not sure how you feel about the Bella's Whimsies. I hadn't tried them before and once I did I now love them. You get the cluster already made but that's not all you get everything they use to make the cluster as individual elements. I love their circular splatters and brushes.

I'm not sure how I feel. I'm not too good at premade things as I feel they limit me. It's the same with templates. Sometimes they are a blessing. Others a hindrance

I understand, that's what I am saying that in addition to the premade, she includes all the pieces individually that she used to make their clusters. I love the stamps they include in the sets.
