    I joined a few weeks ago but never introduced myself.

    My name is Desi. I am extremely new to scrapping, having just started during the Project Mouse fan event. But I am completely hooked!

    I live in northern Georgia with my husband of 12 years (who I started dating in high school when I was only 15) and our 8 year old daughter. I am a certified teacher but I homeschool my daughter. I like to hike, bake, sew, and travel. I love National Parks and Disney. My daughter is getting her black belt in taekwondo this year, so I also spend a lot of time there.

    I think that's about it. I am excited to create more and get to know all of you.

    Welcome to the PAD Desi! I replied to your request on the Martial Arts kits. I have added it to the list in the designer area hopefully someone gets super inspired and makes one.

    Hi Desi! I remember you from the live chats. I'm glad you came to play. I'm homeschooling my 7 year old son. And we have a couple different homeschool moms hanging out here at the pad too. I know we have some other Georgia peeps, and southerners too! Digital scrapping is so addicting! I'm glad you are loving it!

    Hi Desi - nice to formally meet you! this is a great place to hang and learn with similarly addicted peeps and you've been rocking the gallery since the FANniversary- i have a big soft spot for Project Mouse even if the closest Disney park to me is at least a 9-10hr plane ride away, so i have to live somewhat vicariously through others pages!

    Hey Desi,

    We have a lot in common! I love digital scrapbooking, I live in WNC, really close to the north Georgia border. I also homeschool! And, while I'm not a huge Disney fan *gasp*, I grew up in Central Florida and went to Disney quite a bit while growing up.
