My Name is Lynda with a Y just to be different and also to be different physical I suffer from "Aphasia"... Now don't be scared off it not contagious backing) you have too go through what I've gone & that is "an active Brain Aneurysm 6.0 cm x 4.5 cm from BIRTH". Brings me to age now 54 when hit me 47 and yes I'm kinda one of these people "no pain no brain" kind of thinking in other words forget about it... HB and I take a bike ride in August and hit wrong brake causing bike to fly 4ft in air (lets go surfing ) anyways next day found at hospital it "was 2 aneurysms no correction 1 SUPER BIG ONE". Met Dr. he said "IT HAD TO BE CLIPPED" (which means cut off the blood & stuff that goes into it) 4 days in hospital I spent 58 had 2 strokes and had 1 heartache AND am STILL here... thank god I've still got migraines I have had them since 8 some physical stuff and bit of Aphasia which is hardest to work with cause the hospital therapy was 6 months and it was at least confusing... so I took to avoiding computer which I had used before for 5 years... Then just one day the computer started coming back to me so HERE I am again not a quick but pretty darn close close enough to be HAPPY and bright and have ideas... See you around... Lynda ;0)
Your humor makes me love you already, welcome and this really is a home of scrapper. We are close, but not so tight that we can't welcome new folks. I think you have just squeezed in and fit perfect. Welcome again.
wow what a story! SO nice the meet you Lynda with a Y and hope you enjoy it here at the Pad! Welcome!
first of all, welcome to the Lilypad's family!!!!!! let us know if we can help you in anyway, but for what I can see, you have the BEST outlook on life and also I can relate... with a congenital condition (was born paralyzed, didn't walk until aged 5, 9 operations from birth till 8 years old- then had a pretty normal life until 2003 a hip replacement gone wring plus 4 other surgeries that failed to fix, which brought an array of other conditions, the latest is heart failure!) and having become a regular out- patient for a few hospitals.... I am with you in heart.... Make yourself home!!!! Hugggzzz
