February Scraplift Challenge

For this month's scraplift challenge I am challenging you to "Scraplift Your-selfie". So often we choose a polly, member, or designer to scraplift, or we play scraplift tag, and for this month's challenge I thought it might be fun for us to use our own layouts as our inspiration! To me, scraplifting is all about finding something you like within a LO, whether it be the actual composition, the colors, the style, the title - just whatever catches your eye, and then creating that in some form on a new LO. So, I want you to go thru your own gallery here at TLP, and choose a LO that you want to scraplift - into it's own unique page! Let me be clear - we are not re-doing the page we choose, we are creating a whole new LO out of inspiration from your chosen LO. Hope that makes sense! I have found that the nice thing about scrapping "your-selfie" is that your style is your style - you don't have to try to "fit" someone else's style into your own - which is a good challenge at times to get us out of our own box, but this page should feel totally YOU! Be sure to show us your original, or link us up to your original!

(That was so fun to browse way back thru my gallery - brought back so many memories! I also took notice of what I see the most in my gallery - and I realized that I am pretty big on borders and having defined edges in some way, shape, or form, and I also fell in love with my LOs that had nice big striking photos. So that is where I am going to take my inspiration from on this scraplift!)

Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread.

The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

2 challenges = 10% off
4 challenges = 20% off
6 challenges = 30% off

If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
