Is it really February already? January was such a whirlwind. Between getting back to the school routine and trying to keep up with MOC, it just flew by! Speaking of MOC (Month Of Challenges), I have participated for the last 4 years and there are a couple things I've observed about the fast-paced inspiration. One is that I always learn something new (or am inspired by something new) that I would like to incorporate into future layouts, but if I don't do it pretty quickly I tend to forget. Another is that there are always a couple pages that I am not quite happy with - either they didn't come out the way I had envisioned, or I just didn't have the time needed to do them "right". With that in mind, for this month's random challenge I want you to choose any one of the MOC challenges and have another go, or do a challenge you weren't able to complete, or if you didn't participate in MOC this year then just choose one that inspires you. You can find all 31 of the challenges HERE I had so much fun with the January 27 Paper to Digi challenge and I really wanted to incorporate those cutouts into another page. So that's the one I chose. Here's my page… That's it. Choose an MOC challenge and go for it. Just be sure to post which challenge you selected in the layout thread. Can't wait to see your pages! As Always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
LOL so glad to see the bold section (i just scrolled to your LO and thought i'd have to do a white space page ) - there's a lot i'd like to repeat, and a few I'd rather, well, not.
I have picked the Clean & Simple Challenge because it was one of the hardest challeng for me. I like to use a lot of elements.
Yay! I loved the Scraplift Challenge, so I decided to redo that one and lift another of Tronesia's pages. Here is the one I am going to scraplift: Here is my lift of Tronesia's page:
I didn't love my clean and simple LO for MOC 19 so here's a new one. grrrr. I like it much better haha
I chose to do #27 again January 27: Paper to Digi (Inspiration Challenge) - I loved cutting out and letting my background peek through! I want to remember to do this more frequently!!
Thanks! I wanted to retry Anne's challenge with the sticker. I like this one a lot better. P.S. My nephew, Alex, on the ice is also a sticker!
I was so inspired by the MOC day 27 challenge of Just Jaimee. I played around with it, but couldn't get it the way I wanted... so I tried a new one
