Hello, Challenge lovers! I hope everyone is ready to go after our crazy Month of Challenges! If you finished the MOC, or even got half way through, February should be a breeze! As all of the challenge pollys know, I'm not a journaler. Every time I get the journaling challenge, I'm working bribes behind the scenes to get anyone to trade with me! So this month's random challenge is NO JOURNALING. None. Nada. Not even a title, or word art. The only words/script allowed on your page is the date. We often do photoless challenges - this is a journal-less challenge! I want you to focus on a fabulous picture (or pictures) and all of the amazing elements that are found here at the Lilypad! Here's mine: And as always, the guidelines: Your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad product. You should post your layout in this thread, as well as in the February Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked! And of course, your page should be posted in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love! The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete all 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to see how everyone works their photo and element magic! Have fun ladies!
Thanks for the fun! I am not someone who likes to put a lot of journal on the pages either. Much rather, I like to put the journal, or story on a separate page since I make mostly double page layouts of which I post only one page....
I love to journal, but the titles are challenging for me . . . I adore designers who include titles or word arts in kits for just this reason!
LOL! This is perfect for you Julie. Of course it's probably going to kill me! I ramble on and on for my pages!
I think this is great, and for those who can't bear the "no title" clause you could always make the date a feature, right?
I was thinking about this one and it suddenly HIT ME what to scrap... it literally hit me almost in the face... LOL!!!
