Happy February scrappy friends! For those of you who participated, I hope that you enjoyed the whirlwind that is MOC!! Pat yourself on the back and take a deep breath. Now we return to our regularly scheduled programming (of monthly challenges). I'm sure that many of you have heard of photography challenges such as photo-a-day, or capture your 365. The idea is to encourage you to take photos by offering a different prompt each day of the month or year. I took a look at some past prompts over at the Fat Mum Slim website and one caught my eye. So, for your challenge this month, a prompt. Here it is: looking down. Your page should feature a photo (or photos) inspired by the prompt. Here's mine. I can't wait to see your interpretations! As Always: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
This sounds a great challenge. I am about to go on a little holiday to a beachside town so I will keep this challenge in mind when I take some photos.
I am hoping this photo will count. She is laying down in her bed and photo was taken from above that way.
I have been wanting to scrap this one for a while, I was cooking the a while back while the kiddos did their homework, this one wanted to be close to me. At one point I looked down on the kitchen floor and saw this!! I had to snap a picture!
