I might have gone a little overboard. These all came from Vecteezy, but some have been altered. Too fun!

    HELP

I'm trying again to do this today but so far it's going badly. I watched the videos a week or two ago and thought it was just that I was too tired to comprehend. But now it's mid day and I'm not tired but I'm struggling to just get started.

I need a video that starts with the very basics, assuming I know nothing. I finally googled to find out how to install the action (I use PSCC) and that seems to have worked because I can see the action in the new palette I created (good thing I knew to click on Window to find the action palette or the google result wouldn't have even helped because it assumed my action palette was already visible!)

But when I tried running the action it did something for several seconds then said the "Apply" command is not available or something like that. I pressed continue anyway but it refused to go further.

edited to add the error code I'm getting :

I'm just working on a one layer very simple heart drawing I drew myself with the paintbrush tool and the paint bucket.

Is there help somewhere that starts at the very beginning? I'll go re-watch the entire video and and try to piece it together. It's frustrating though. I want to work along while watching but I can't even get the first step to work.

edited again to add: Part way through watching the video I began to wonder if the action didn't work because I hadn't installed the styles yet. So I installed them and then the Apply error message didn't come up but it seemed like NOTHING happened. But then I saw new layers in my layers palette even though my drawing hasn't changed; doesn't look like an enamel pin at all. What am I doing wrong? I even tried restarting Photoshop. Here's where I'm stuck now. If you click you can see it bigger.
