Hello and Happy August!!! I cannot believe the year is now more that half over and my kids will be heading back to school soon. It seems like time is flying by faster than ever so I'm trying to embrace the family outings and downtime as much as I can. We often do the same activities all season long, so it sometimes feels like I'm photographing and scrapping the same thing over and over. Since I love to journal, it can be difficult to find new and exciting ways to describe these days so this time I turned to word art to do my journaling for me. Letting the photos tell the story and punctuating the emotion through the word art was just what I needed to get this family time scrapped. It was simple, stress free, conveyed exactly what I wanted to share and I felt good getting the memory documented! So that is this month's random challenge - use word art on your layout. Here is my page I created for this challenge using Just Jaimee's August '16 Storyteller Digital Kit and Paislee Press' Trading Card Sized Template. I can't wait to see how you use word art to tell your story! Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I don't understand, we must only word art to tell out story or can we use word art and journaling for the story ?
My kind of journaling, I don't like to put whole paragraphs of text on the page normally. So this is what I came up with:
