Oh shoot, I was gonna vote today. Oh well: neither of my top 2 choices would have made it with my additional voting. Maybe next time! (Not that I'm unhappy with the choices; I'm looking forward to reading new-to-me books and talking about one of my fave memoirs, The Glass Castle! With both kids in school full-time, I should be able to read that month's book DURING the month, instead of long after we start discussing it!)

The Night Circus (really enjoyed it) and The Handmaid's Tale (haven't read it yet but downloaded it recently for free via Amazon's Prime Library).

Oh! I didn't know Handmaid's Tale was free with Prime! That's so great to know because I was WAY down the list at the library. I'll just get it from Amazon instead! Yay! Thanks! :) I voted for that one too by the way.

Yeah, the wait list was sooooo long at my library so I checked Amazon just to buy it, and saw "0.00 for Prime members and got ridiculously happy lol. (And I swear I had a copy at one point, but I've donated so many books each time we've moved that it probably got put in the wrong pile and donated. Boo.)

Yeah sorry about that! That's how I feel with a lot of links every one in the US posts but I swear it wasn't payback Lol guess I just got a bit too excited seeing a book I recognised on special that was mentioned in Book club here!

It's rare for Aus to have a cheaper version of the book, managed to grab it for 99c - yay! Thanks for the hint @bellbird

Not your fault. :) You mentioned that were Aussie links, but for some reason in my head I thought that if I clicked your link, it would be smart enough to know I was in the US and would instead take me to the .com Amazon. I just got too excited when I saw the price and wanted to jump on it. Lol. I'll just stay in line at the library for the next available copy. :agree
