All of my hearts have the patterned papers clipped to them whether they be paint masks or vellums shapes.
I really found myself motivated by this idea of the white background! I had to look hard for one in my stash, but I'm glad I did! I think the page turned out really cute and I know Squirt is going to be very excited to see his first scrapbook page!! (I made it full size for him with his actual name and face on it! I just changed it a bit for sharing!) Huggles!! ~Sarah~
I want to start learning more about Illustrator and found this great tutorial by Chris Spooner about how to make a flat style map. I used it to make a map of our street- such fun. Forgive the trite title, but I like Madness.
Thanks for a fun challenge. I struggle with using patterned paper so your challenge pushed me - thanks!
Very interesting challenge. I tend to avoid patterned paper and this was fun once I got my head around the notion, lol.
I decided to go bold.. Journaling translated: On holiday to Sweden and we have to pay a visit to Pippi Longstocking. I remember it as magic. The others remember it as fake. Obviously I was very young, but for me this was the real Pippi. #littlegirlmemories
