Happy April everyone! Are you ready for a new journaling challenge? This month, we are going to journal a story from our lives, either from the present or the past. My scrapping is usually so event-driven that sometimes I forget to take a step back and tell the whole story that takes place over time. And this is a good opportunity to give it a try! Here is my page: And here are the rules: Your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad product. You should post your layout in this thread, as well as in the April Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked! And of course, your page should be posted in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love! The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete all 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). So now it's time to tell one of your stories.
this is my favourite bit of scrapping, usually it doesn't "show" too much of the product of the designers, but too much of personal info, thus I leave it in the private folder, I'll try my best to reach the balance of the two to make it worthy of the challenge.
Not 100% sure I understand this, but I'm telling the story of our week and also the story of Emily being silly with her playroom in the top corner section....I think that's right, lol.
Here's my take - I journaled about something over time so I hope this counts as that's how I interpreted the instructions.
This is my first time trying to complete the challenges! Told the story of when my friends and I made up code names to use over the 2-way radios during a road trip together. When I saw the picture of my friend actually using the 2-way radio I knew I had to tell that story!
