The votes are in and counted. The book we will be reading for this month is Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella. Please label spoilers or even type them in white like I just did right here (highlight that blank space) so that a person has to highlight it to read it.
Sophie is always a good choice i picked up Twenties Girl the other day in a sale - so many books, so little time
read it then comment here in the thread about the specific book you read - we aren't strict, doesnt have to be within the month (just try to warn re: spoilers or type in whtie like Karen said) and feel free to not like something some random person suggested (cough - this my have been one of my suggestions so i'm sure you will love it - kidding, no pressure) looking forward to some extra opinions/book chat this month
Im 2/3 through Red Rising and then can start this. I've read most of her books so am looking forward to this.
Yay! Looking forward to reading this one with you all! And now I wish I would've picked up a copy that I found at Half Price Books last time I was there Oh well....guess I'll have to go back. Not that anyone has to twist my arm!
I got the book from the library today! And I've read 30 pages already. Only stopped because I had to drive my daughter home from choir practice.
I started this afternoon and am on page 87... it's really putting a wrench into getting my BYOC stuff finished.. (Also, totally surprised how much I'm enjoying it..)
So... yeah... stayed up until 4:00 this morning to finish.. Which surprised me.. Not typically my genre of choice, and I was actually a little annoyed by the character, but I just really wanted to figure out what happened!! LOL...
What a wild story! I just finished, less than 24 hours after I began the book! I was in disbelief at the beginning and thought there must be a plot twist like maybe she had been tricked somehow. And then being unsure what was going to happen with Jon, the way Lexi kept going back and forth, kept me reading as fast as I could. I think I like how it was wrapped up at the end. Not a deep book, but a very engaging, entertaining story.
I was at the ER on Saturday with my hubs (lung infection, so needed treatment but not anything serious, thankfully) and I brought the book along to read. Got thru 1/3 of it that afternoon. Love her books as they are a fun, fast and easy read. I'm still working on another book this month (Everything You Want Me To Be) so will be flipping back and forth with these two throughout the month.
