Amazon Prime peeps what did everyone get as their Kindle First selection?

I did get one? lol, I remember thinking they were kinda meh...
this looked like a good lay in the sun read:

I picked the Last Woman Standing. It's always a guess for me.

 

I got Pierced by the Sun. We'll see if I read it.

 

felt that way too ... I got Intrusion, same as Anne.

 

Me too. I haven't started it yet, though, so I don't know yet if it's any good.

 

I ended up getting Cold, which I haven't read yet. My daughter got Intrusion, and I read that. It was okay. A super fast read.

I've only just become aware of this perk (been prime members for 2 years - is it new)? I chose Journey's End. I usually pick by covers. LOL

 

We don't get Kindle first for free (Australian Amazon, sigh), have to pay a couple of dollars for our options so I'll give it a miss this month - nothing leapt out at me.

This is only in the US. Be careful with the rest of us. Prime is also pretty great in Canada but we definitely don't get many off the perks you guys experience in the US and I can only imagine the rest of the universe. So many other countries don't get this.

 

Stupid question....where do you go for the free books?

 

I've never tried Allison's way. Although it does sort of show up that way for me on my phone (I get a free book every month because of a Samsung deal... they usually aren't ones that I would pick though). But for the regular Prime, I usually get an email telling me what the selection is for the month. Then you just pick one and it should zero out at the price.

 

That stinks that you guys don't get that option. Maybe it is a publishing rights thing.

 

you get this in the uk too, i think its the same books but im not sure
