February 2018 Project Pages

I'm with you @bestcee! Working on my January, Week 2:

 

I've been resisting starting on 2018 because I haven't really solidified my design plan for the year... sheesh... overanalyze much?!

So here I was going to try only photos, cards and word art...that's a lot harder than I thought! I'm totally open to ideas and suggestions!! And I'm completely torn over whether I need to add shadows or not to the word bits...I just can't decide!

 

@Lynnette I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm glad you were surrounded by family and friends! Your pictures and colors are so soft here. Really beautiful.

 

I finally started PL 2018! I really tried to channel my inner Paige Evans and be okay with this spread taking so much time since I 'stamped' all those words on my photos... but it annoyed me that it's taken me 2 days to complete so I won't be doing that again anytime soon.

 

Week 2 done! I'm loving this simplified version...the pages come together rather quickly...that and I didn't have very many pictures!

 

I've made my first 2 pages for project 52.
I'll slowly play catch up with the first 4 weeks.

 

Week 2 was kinda boring so it's just one page.

January into February finally!

 

Doing my pages for February are getting easier now that I'm taking more photos. I've got a lot of writing to do for the January pages still.

 

Oh I feel good that these are getting done! (btw that cigarette is NOT mine but I was stunned considering the cost of a pack these days...truly stupid)

 

Okay... slowly but surely working on PL again...

 

Week 4

 

Congrats to your son on all his college acceptances! Also, I wish school of rock was a thing when I was in school - my secret wish is to be a rock drummer! That is so cool!

 

Week 5 - using the March Storyteller for a January & Feb week!

 

I love all the layouts that are coming by.. I'm running 4 weeks behind because 4 weeks ago my external HD dropped on the floor and it crashed immediately. Luckily I always back up a lot but it was still a lot of work to restore all the pictures I didn't back up. I also lost a lot of pictures but finally it is in my advantage that I always take a lot of pictures. Now I'm done fixing everything so I can try to catch up. I now store everything on Dropbox so I don't need to take my external HD everywhere.
