This month we have so much to be thankful for, including a fantastic line up of guest designers!!  let’s take a minute to get to know two of our November guests – Tracie Stroud and Kitty Chen.  We asked them each to share a bit about themselves. Here’s what they had to say…

My name is Tracie Stroud. My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 11 1/2 years. We have 3 kiddos, ages 6, 4, and almost 1.

I’m a bookaholic. I read approximately 1 book every 2 days. I love paranormal fiction right now. I currently have Stereo Hearts on replay on Spotify. No matter how cold it is, I cannot sleep with my feet covered up. I’ll have the electric blanket on and be totally bundled up, but I have to stick my feet out from under the covers.

Hello! My name is Kitty, I am from Indonesia, a proud mom of Ruel, and my lover’s wife.

I love illustration and children’s art since I am a kid, and draw everywhere, on the wall, on the paper, and every empty space I can reach when I was a kid. My love of art makes me enjoy digital scrapbooking even more since I can do it without making a lot of mess in my house when I have so little time to clean it.

My other passion are photography and story telling. Since I was a teenager I already bring my own old pocket camera, with film of course, and decorate the photo with my hand drawn doodle, plus some words here and there, and never stop loving it until now.  I love to be here! And glad to have a chance to express a little me through digital scrapbooking at The Lilypad.

It’s finally time to properly introduce our newest TLP Designer to you properly. I almost did this post at the end of last month as a guest designer spotlight. Can I just tell you how super excited I am to be spotlighting Allison as a resident designer instead of a guest!!!  Yay!

In case you’ve been hiding under a rock and have missed it, Allison Pennington is the newest designer to join the TLP design team! If you don’t already know Allison, you are in for a treat! She is fun and quirky and full of personality, and her designs are a reflection of that for sure! I asked Allison to share a bit about herself so we could get to know her better. Here’s what she had to say:

1. Who is your favorite Loony Tunes character or Disney Princess? Zombies.
2. What is your favorite thing to eat at a restaurant? Sunomono Salad with shrimp and octopus from the Sushi restaurant around the corner. Mmmmmmm….
3. Favorite chick flick? The Cutting Edge. Toe pick…. Don’t judge me.
4. What’s a pet peeve of yours? I HATE it when people talk while they yawn. I’m talking murderous, psychopathic rage. LOL  I also respond poorly to ice chewing, knuckle cracking, and wet lunch meat.
5. Do you have a favorite quote? “Kenny, don’t paint your sister!” Michael Keaton, Mr Mom
