I printed my digi elements and used my Silhouette digital cutter to cut them out. I also used the sketch function on my Silhouette to draw onto paper. You can certainly hand-cut the elements after printing them out if you don’t have a digital cutter. If you do have a Silhouette, I posted a video tutorial earlier this year on printing & cutting any digital elements using the Silhouette.
Card #1: doodled frame card using Valorie Wibbens’ Silly Frilly Frames
The doodled frames were perfect for the sketch function on the Silhouette! I traced the digi elements in my Silhouette Studio software and used some of my Sharpie pens and Sakura glitter pens to draw the frames onto my card. Here is the sketching in action.
I used my Silhouette to print and cut a bunch of elements out from Laura Grier’s Everyday Story Doodles to add to my card.
And here’s the finished card. Pretty cute eh?
I love using digital elements for more than scrapbooking. I hope you are inspired to make some cards with frames and labels! :)
